Ad Astra:
Ad Astra Ethan Gross by 20th Century Fox, under the direction of James Gray and the production of Brad Pitt, presents the science fiction space cinematographic work Ad Astra; it was released on September 20th of two thousand nineteen. The film is set in the distant future, and tells the story of space travelers trying to find intelligent life in the confines of the solar system; with incredible images of what can be found beyond our borders. Our solar system is being affected by a string of energy flashes that had never been experienced; this puts the different security and space research agencies on alert, resulting in a dangerous imbalance that could put the entire life of the planet at risk. The investigations show that these flashes could come from the same point where the crew of the “Lima Project” is believed to disappear, a SpaceCom mission commanded by astronaut H. Clifford MacBride; of which there is no information for more than fifteen years; This mission was to travel the confines of the solar system in search of intelligent life and establish a space camp on the planet Neptune. Back to the present, the US Air Force astronaut Major Roy MacBride is performing routine repairs on the outside of the hull of the international space station; at that moment it is reached by one of the flashes of energy, which is expelled directly to the mesosphere and goes free fall into the earth. Incredibly the astronaut MacBride manages to survive, however he is being held at the SpaceCom base for routine and safety checks; at that time a space mission is posed to the planet Mars commanded by General Pruitt; Major Roy MacBride learns that there is a small possibility that his father is alive in space. Pruitt, who was very close to H. Clifford, proposes the mission to the intrepid astronaut, to which Roy responds immediately; decision that will have an important weight in his family future, but it is something that does not seem to matter much. When it is time to leave, both officers take a commercial flight to the Moon, where a commission from the space army awaits them to take them to the SpaceCom launch base, which is at a farthest point in reference to the earth; as they move to the edge of the lunar rovers, they are attacked by space pirates, which seriously injure General Pruitt. Upon arriving at the SpaceCom base, Pruitt's severity leaves him in intensive care; Major MacBride takes command of the mission and aboard the ferry Cepheus; already in orbit receive a distress signal issued by a Norwegian biomedicine research station; the captain of the ship goes to the call despite the refusal of Major Roy. When they arrive they find the facilities totally empty, they get the bodies of the crew dismembered; when they are suddenly attacked by a genetically modified baboon; This almost kills the captain, but Roy with his indescribable calm manages to defend himself and even lock the creature in a capsule and then throw it into space and cause his death. Upon reaching the Martian orbit, the Cepheus is hit by a flash of energy that manages to break down some controls, including the autopilot; with the death of the captain and the second officer's panic, Roy takes command of the cabin and manages to land the ferry. Helen Lantos, director of SpaceCom facilities on the red planet, is waiting for you on the planet Mars; There he must begin the investigations of the whereabouts of the Lima project crew, Roy's first task will be to record a message for his father that later transmitted through the space waiting for answers.

Artemis Fowl:
This "spoof" of Pirates of the Caribbean is a parody of the famous Disney/Virgil's Pinnacles pirate story, and its first installment is called The Adventures of Artemis Fowl. I must admit that this adaptation has some good fun things to say about pirates in general and Captain Jack Sparrow in particular. The series follows Jack Sparrow, an ex-pirate who sets out to find the Dead Man's Chest (DM) that he has lost with his original crew. With the help of Rebecca who is searching for Jack and his old ship, they set off on a quest to find the pirate treasure. While the crew is looking for a map and parts to the submarine, they meet the second mate and Robin Deems, another character from the movie. There is a fair amount of truth in this series being a parody of Pirates of the Caribbean; both are historical fact based tales with colourful personalities. Though it is unlikely that Jack Sparrow's crew would be similar to the crew in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, there is also a lot of truth in the series. The current crew of Sparrows, both before and after their adventures, have a lot in common with the original crew. These similarities do not excuse any mistakes though, but when this series can't get the history right, it is a shame to see that the tale doesn't stand up on its own merits. It has been noted by many critics that this movie is more a commentary on modern wealth, as opposed to Rich's trip through the New World. Rich says that it is a reminder that it is not all about wealth, though the wealth is a bit overstated. This is probably the case, but Rich's crew are enriched because of their bravery and willingness to go where no one else can, while the crew of the Dead Man's Chest may have money, but that is just a metaphor for an imaginary treasure that is really just a means to an end. In contrast, the crew of Artemis Fowl are made up of basically poor people with dreams, dreams that eventually take them all the way to the top. Artemis Fowl is the ones who become rich with their novel idea of piracy. They take advantage of the opportunities created by their exploits and make themselves rich, which turns into even more poverty when they fail to turn a profit. I personally think that this movie takes a bit of an anti-piracy stance, but I understand why Pirates of the Caribbean had to be such a success. Still, Artemis Fowl shows that pirates are not always a good thing, and in fact, a little bit of me wants to take a look at the series now and see what would happen if pirates never existed. Many critics state that this film is meant to be a commentary on contemporary society and how greed affects people, but I do not agree. If that were the case, then all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies would be a comment on the corrupt government, or greediness of the rich. Artemis Fowl is a series of three movies that show that perhaps Jack Sparrow and other pirates were not as evil as they are made out to be, or that pirates need not be the bad guys in our story. Still, we must remember that even the most evil of characters is also human.

Parasite:
Drama, black comedy, criminal thriller, science fiction, dystopias, apocalypse, monsters ... In their fusion of styles, the filmography of South Korean Bong Joon-ho has found a way of reflection and joyful spectacle, cinephile fetish, and critical admiration, by Reach of very few directors. That status, also the dissertation of common themes such as alienation and class struggle, now reaches a very stimulating peak in ' Parasite '. Never before have Joon-ho's turns been as ingenious as, ultimately, meaningful. As ironic as tragic. Unpredictable and at the same time plausible. 'P arasite' is the title of the film that won the coveted Palme d'Or at the last Cannes Film Festival. Its director, Bong Joon-Ho, is one of the leading exponents of the new Korean cinema. Having shown exceptional skills in handling suspense and intrigue in ‘ Mother ’ and ‘ Memories of Murder ’, with skilled handling of narrative time; flirting with the fantastic cinema with ‘ Okja ’ and ‘ The Host ’, he approaches black comedy in his latest film. Parasite presents two Korean families of the same composition. Marriage with a son and a daughter. However, they belong to conflicting social strata. The growing inequality of developed societies finds an example in the opulence of one, compared to the poor condition of the other. The offspring protagonist, like bedbugs after fumigation, leaves the catacombs of a shady house to overshadow the routine of another family, much wealthier. The fascination and the power that some exert on others will cause between the characters an inversion of roles and an invasion of spaces, with the basement as a literal and metaphorical place of a crudeísimo social order. All, creepy and capricious, subject to their regret to the designs of a script that, like life itself, is random. "The plan is that there is no plan," says the patriarch after a universal flood that will remind him of his nature. What he doesn't know is that, along the way, man, turned into an insect, has forgotten his condition of being human. When by accident the precarious son begins to teach English to the daughter of the rich, an interaction opens that Bong Joon-Ho administers with self-confidence. The portrait of the characters takes elements of the best comic surrealism. This movie opens the doors of paradise in the form of carefree candor, the tricks of those who lack everything will enter the scene like an elephant in a pottery shop. The roughness of the tricks used to justify their validity, due to the disconnection with reality of a privileged class that lives with its back to its surroundings. Here ‘ Parasite ’ makes a very critical critique of today's world. The outcome comes out of the conventional. There is already a train crash in which damage control will be difficult to manage. There is a beautiful allegory in the events that take place in the basement of the mansion, with all its miseries, while the party continues in the rest of the dependencies. An up and down constantly faced. Near and far at the same time. The dissection that ‘ Parasite ’ makes of its time leaves ingredients for the memory, despite some caricatural reiteration in which its creator finds a creation. We miss the author who has left posing disturbing atmospheres. On this occasion, the enjoyment will come from the other side. In any case, the final invoices the maturity of a solvent creator, to whom glory has come with a work that is not the best of his filmography. Parasite achieves its goal of showing us both sides of very different social populations, it has a very sharp social criticism that makes us reflect a little about how unbalanced our world is.

Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga:
Watching the Eurovision Song Contest: The S from Russia...And The S is still playing! For those of you who are into the theater and watch movies to either relax or get something to do, this might be just the show for you. This series stars some of the most well known actors in the business, who are all singing and dancing their hearts out in front of the camera. Case Scenario - Based on the popular 2020 movie featuring Julia Roberts, this drama is a very funny series that tells the story of a group of singers who take the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest. The series follows their dreams and ups and downs along the way, while allowing some funny moments. This film is also a big hit at the box office, so check it out before you decide to buy tickets. Before I continue with the series, I think you should know what type of musical theatre you want your Eurovision Song Contest to be. There are four categories: comedy, drama, pop, and traditional. You must decide what type of music fits the best. I will discuss each genre of musical theatre and whether you want to watch it or not. Comedy: Many of the most successful musicals are comedies. There are some great comedic musicals on Broadway like Les Miserables and Mamma Mia. If you want to watch an adult comedy, The Producers or Aida might be your best choices. However, if you want to see a young, energetic group of singers, A Love Supreme is one of the best shows you can see. I would not recommend watching Aida, but it is not the worst musical out there. Drama: Choreographed drama is another popular genre of musical theatre. Les Miserables is a famous example of a well-loved, yet choreographed drama. Another good drama that you should look for is the West End production of War Horse. These types of shows are popular because they feel like they belong in the theatre, as if they were acting in front of the audience. Pop: If you want to watch a musical, but it is not about dancing, try watching a show with a more traditional category. Eurovision Song Contest: The S from Russia is a great example of a traditional musical. This version of The Lion King features many beautiful songs that are not for children, but that you should enjoy. I personally like Lola, and The Treacherous Troubadour is another good song. Overall, this show is perfect for those who want to see a show that feels like it belongs in the theatre. Traditional: In the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest: The S from Russia, the use of real instruments and vocals is in the original songs. There are plenty of old-fashioned songs that the audience should love. The Lion King and Come from Away are both classics that any fan of musical theatre should see. So if you want to watch some of the best musicals out there, check out the Eurovision Song Contest: The S from Russia. It is not only a great musical, but it is also full of comedy and drama. It is a show you will definitely want to watch, and you should make sure to catch it.
