When Anna enters an all-girls, underground fighting club to turn her chaotic mess of an existence around, she quickly finds out that she is much more connected to the past of the club than she had ever imagined. After getting into a heated fight with her best friend, Anna comes out of the club in a daze, confused about her future and fearful for her safety. While trying to help her friend find a job, Anna is thrown into the deep end of a criminal conspiracy that will implicate a string of powerful international figures.

This dark comedy about life itself delves into many human emotions including jealousy, self-pity, fear, anger, betrayal, greed, and self-preservation. The movie's storyline, plot, and characters are based on a number of true stories. Some of the characters that appear throughout the movie include: the beautiful, innocent brunette named Anna; her friend Emmitt; his beefy, rough-housing best friend Carl; their perpetually scheming yet caring best friend, Feimster; and their mutual enemies, the French maids. It is important to note that even though Chick Fight centers on a number of female relationships, it is not an exclusively female story. Many men are also in this movie including: Mike "The Situation" Thomas, Dan Aykroyd, John" " Pittman, and trainer Dennis "Theodor" Winters.

The movie's pacing is fast paced. The humor comes in when the women at the coffee shop argue over whether or not the "chick fighters" really do fight like they say they do. For instance, one of them says, "I saw them do a chicken fight last week." Another one responds, "You know what I saw them do last week?" This dialogue displays the women's confusion and lack of trust in each other. A subtle humor helps the audience understand the dynamics of how the women interact within the Chick Fight environment.

The acting is well done throughout the movie. All of the characters have realistic dialogue. The dialogues are witty and entertaining. The supporting characters, especially the French maids, add a bit of spice to the movie. There is some romantic tension between the all-male coffee shop employees, which makes the entire comedy more heartfelt.

The movie, though long, is filled with funny and memorable scenes. The action is exciting, and watching the two rival fighters repeatedly hit each other with chairs and tables is thrilling. A sequence that takes place near the end of the movie involves the two fighting to the death inside of a moving vehicle. Though the Chick Fight movie is long, there are many different acts, dialogues, and fights throughout, making it more than just the standard chick flicks about female empowerment.

Overall, The Chick Fight is a light-hearted comedy that is entertaining to watch. If you like your movies to have a lot of action but still have humor and great dialogue, then The Chick Fight might be exactly what you're looking for. The only minor complaint I have is that the final fight scene was a bit too brief. Other than that, this is a great little movie, and an entertaining look into the world of online wrestling. If you have never seen a Chick Fight before, then you might want to give this one a try, it's not too bad!
