Based on the graphic novel Rogue Wars: The Rogue Federation, Rogue Warfare: Death of a Nati is an exciting space themed video game. After saving Daniel from the clutches of the evil terrorist organization known as the Black Mask, the group discovers a plot for a dangerous bomb placed on the plane that will explode in just over 36 hours. With just hours to get the device fixed and gather the resources needed to defuse it, a desperate team of U.S. soldiers must rely on every resource at their disposal to win the fight against their sworn enemy. However, with no time left on the clock to fix the problem or gather the needed resources, they must quickly devise a plan of action to defeat the enemy and save the day. As the clock ticks slowly and the deadline approaches the tense atmosphere of the video game becomes more intense as a series of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil begin to occur.
Directed by bounce-back independent film director Dan Cavuto (who also co-produced the movie) and star Summer Glau, Jacob Lofland, and Max Lewis, Rogue Nations: The Rogue Force is set for release on May 16th, 2020. Based on the highly popular book series of the same name, Rogue Nation tells the story of a group of young "rogues" who must save the Earth when an alien invasion and subsequent bombardment of the planet's surface awaken a secret weapons of mass destruction device. The nefarious scheme involving this weapon, hidden among the ranks of the United States military, must be stopped before it is too late. This action packed blockbuster movie from director Dan Cavuto and starring a who's who of movie stars promises to be one of the year's most memorable releases. If you're looking for the latest and greatest in movie entertainment this year, then Rogue Nations: The Rogue Force might just be the ticket that you have been looking for.
One thing that makes this movie so different and unique is its adherence to the classic story elements of an alternate history action film. The movie starts (and finishes, really) in the year 1960 when a rogue group of terrorists are behind the assassination of the President of the United States. Our hero, a young woman by the name ofonica Trovato, is chosen to infiltrate the group and bring down its leader, believing that he is the evil mastermind behind the assassination. With stunning special effects, cinematography that put you right in the middle of the action, and a fast-paced action tale that keep viewers riveted throughout the movie, Rogue Nations is one movie that you will not want to miss.
The characters in Rogue Nations are interesting enough to make the movie very entertaining. Cavuto plays a CIA agent going into battle against the terrorists whereas Simmons as a loyal member of the Peace Corp is tasked with protecting America. Peter Berg plays a senior officer on the NSA while Morgan Freeman provides the voice of reason for both sides. The two Hollywood mainstays, Morgan Freeman and Peter Berg, do a wonderful job of bringing life to the story line, especially considering the dual roles that they play.
There are tons of different war stories that can be related to Rogue Nations. In fact, some of the characters even come from some of the popular conflicts that we have all heard of. So this means that fans of real war fiction and movies such as World War II and The Gulf War will definitely enjoy Rogue Nations. The cast also includes George Clooney, who plays the antagonist role but comes across as a really nice guy in this movie. This role was previously played by Brad Pitt and Robert DeNiro.
The Bottom Line: Rogue Nations may not be a mainstream movie like something like Clint Eastwood's The Expendables but it is still a very entertaining film. It isn't filled with anything new or original but it does what the movie was intended to do, which was to tell a story from an unbiased source. I gave the movie a huge rating because of its style and how it was told. If you are interested in this type of movie then go out and see it right away. I assure you that you won't be disappointed.
