Just Another Christmas is an online film that you should definitely check out. Directed by Lucas Neff, Just Another Christmas stars Edrio Felipe and Brazilian beauty Justine Bateman. The movie is much like the original Christmas movie of 1940s, just accept that it's available on the Internet now. Just Another Christmas revolves around a man named Gabriel (Eff), who returns home one year after the holidays to a small town in Brazil. Here he tries to reconnect with his old friends from childhood and cheer up a skeptical old man, Justine (Bateman), who doesn't believe in Santa Claus.
Just Another Christmas follows the life of Gabriel as he tries to adjust to his new circumstances in the small Brazilian town where he lives. As the credits roll, we get to see the various back stories of the main characters as well as some surprising cameos by well-known celebrities such as Whoopi Goldberg and Tigra Sherwood. This TV show can easily pass off as a rip-off of Whoopi Goldberg's My Secret Life, which was also filmed in Brazil. However, just like her famous spin-off, Just Another Christmas comes nowhere near to the original version, which is quite good.
The big show Just Another Christmas is already available on the internet and can be purchased via the websites My Netflix Family and NetFlix On Demand. The movie has been praised by critics and viewers alike, and it appears to have received a warm welcome by all audiences. The story is very funny, with great comic timing, and features excellent animated sequences and special effects. Both kids and adults will thoroughly enjoy this movie. In the US, Just Another Christmas was released in January of 2020 and is currently ranked number five on The Film District's Best Picture list.
A few months after its release, Just Another Christmas was made into a short film called the Year That Was, which starred Tim Allen and Albert Brooks. The movie went on to become one of the highest grossing films of the year and was eventually nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. Though not as successful as the previous film, it still managed to become a hit, despite less than stellar reviews by critics. A year later, the movie was again made into a full-length feature film entitled Groundhog Day.
The year after, producers decided that it was time to make a major change to the storyline. Nowadays, Christmas begins on Christmas Eve, while in the future, Christmas will begin on a Friday instead of Christmas day. Instead of making another film about the last year's events, they decided to make a new movie based around the current events going on, just like the popular TV series Happy Days. When the new movie was released in 2020, it became the first film in history to earn over three billion dollars at the box office. This is no small feat, as major films have never achieved such a huge return on investment.
The success of the film Just Another Christmas led to many other successful movies being produced in the future. Among them is the next sequel to Groundhog Day, which is due out in 2020. Though there are no concrete plans, studios have started to look for screenwriters and directors for the next movie, according to Variety. If you would like to contribute to this exciting trend, consider writing, producing, or directing a new Christmas film. Who knows, you might end up working with the director of the next Groundhog Day!
