Netflix's Enola Holmes has become the latest attempt by Netflix to free up Sherlock stories for its subscribers, or as much of them as possible. Depending on a collection of teenage adult novels written by Nancy Springer, the movie follows Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) - a 15-year old sister of Sherlock (Harry Lennix) and Mycroft (Rupert Friend) Holmes - as she gets to know and fall in love with John Watson (Tom Hanks).
The film was directed by Guy Pierce, who helmed movies like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and he is known to have a great deal of experience in film making and the acting business. Millie Bobby Brown is very good in this role and is especially good in the love scene. While other movies have tried to do this, none have succeeded quite like Enola.
As with any TV show, you should be aware that in order to get the most from Enola, you must have a membership with the TV show. For some reason, if you happen to have been a member of the original TV show, or are a fan of it, this movie may not quite live up to your expectations.
Despite the fact that you are a member of the TV show, you should still be able to watch Enola on Netflix. Even if you are not currently a member, it will cost you only a one time fee. This is important because it allows you to see all of the episodes in advance before you buy the movie.
In order to watch Enola, you first have to find an online retailer that offers the Movie Collection from the Sherlock Holmes TV Show. Some websites will allow you to buy it all in one place, which is convenient, but if you prefer to purchase each episode individually, check to see if this is available on your particular site.
Once you've purchased the Movie Collection from the TV show, you can now watch Enola. As you would expect from a modern day TV series, it is a very exciting and suspenseful movie to watch, but also fun to be around. If you are a fan of the Sherlock Holmes TV show, Enola will be a great watch - and even if you aren't, it won't take too long to catch up.
The DVD set will allow you to watch each episode back-to-back and will give you a chance to watch the show as it originally aired. You can also watch as many times as you want, if you wish. If you are watching Enola for the first time, this is a great option.
If you happen to know someone who is a fan of the original TV show, they will be able to tell you how enjoyable their favorite episode is, and even talk about how much they enjoyed watching the new version of Enola. I'd recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't already seen the original show, and has enjoyed the adaptations over the years.
