Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask is a remake of the 1982 Ming-era martial arts thriller. Written by the famous director Ang Lee, the story features Martial Arts star Jackie Chan and martial arts stars Kwak Hien, Li Bingbing, and Leung Kung-Lei as well as Hong Kong action stars Michael Chow and Chan Kwai-Shing. In this movie, the plot revolves around a Chinese boxer and martial arts expert, Charlie "Iron" Feng (Chan), who set out to avenge his brother, who was killed by a group of men. And because he thinks that Feng's death will bring down his family's good name and their popularity in the Chinese boxing world, he persuades the head of a mafia boss to help him steal Feng's mother's jewelry box and sell it for some cash.
Movie plot aside, the movie also provides fans of the original with a good story, superb acting and great fight scenes. But why should you watch this movie? Is it because you can relate to the character of Iron Mask, whose popularity peaked after his portrayal in the American TV series Shaolin Soccer? Or is it because you like watching Jackie Chan kicks your ass?
Some people may not watch movies just because they have no taste in movies. They might be very specific about certain qualities of the films they like, so they won't watch films that other people think are boring. Others may dislike how movies portray sex. Still others might like action, drama, and comedy movies, but be unable to identify the kind of movies they like.
As with many things, however, movies come in a variety of forms. Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask is one of the newer movie remakes that are easier to identify with. It's not so much about violence or sex, and it doesn't offer sophisticated entertainment. It's more about watching a good movie and perhaps even watching a good old-fashioned martial arts flick.
In general, movies today aren't all that different from the type of movies that were once popular. There are some that feature advanced special effects, and some that offer action. There are some that features smart, thought-provoking dialog, and some that are just plain funny. And then there are some that are just plain hard-core. Even with a movie called Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask, its plot is only about two kids who journey to China and try to find their parents, who seem to have been kidnapped by a rival Chinese gang.
Movies like this are difficult to find, so they are often hard to find. Most people who try to watch them tend to give up when they're not quite what they expected. And it's not uncommon for audiences to claim that a movie isn't really that good. These movies are available, though, in relatively simple, easy-to-follow format. And because they are easy to watch, they are easier to get into than big budget, elaborate action movies.
The movie itself is even easier to get into than the plot. The movie itself is made up of four really short but very enjoyable parts. Each one follows the story of a particular character, and each one features a fight scene to match.
So, if you want to watch a movie that doesn't require a complex plot, and you don't mind a simple story, the movie you can watch is Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask. If you want a good martial arts movie and you like when movies make you laugh, then you'll love this movie. If you want an action movie that's entertaining, yet not too tough, then the movie you can watch is Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask. And if you want to see a good movie and watch it in the comfort of your own home, then the movie you can watch is Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask.
