Movie fans have to wait for a long time for the second installment of the Jurassic Park trilogy, but one thing is for sure, fans of the original series are in for a treat. After being released online, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom finally has a perfect franchise sequel to continue the journey of the beautiful and adorable first film. However, there are a lot of things that a new movie has to overcome before it can be considered a good one.
In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, you get to see a very dark direction of the story. While some of the early scenes of the movie may seem dark, the story picks up again after the first act, while there are still some scenes of horror throughout.
But the actual story in the Jurassic Park franchise seems to always be about a father and daughter trying to survive an extinction level event. When the first Jurassic Park movie came out, there were no dinosaurs to be seen, and most of the monsters were simply giant bugs. The biggest creature in the whole series, velociraptor, was only seen after that.
In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, there is a new generation of the dinosaurs and the survivors take on a new purpose. They work with raptors and other killer dinosaurs to stop the White Jaws from causing devastation on the beaches of Santorini.
This is just a part of the third part of the franchise, but it's still pretty interesting to see this part come to life, especially considering that the series has progressed much since the first movie. The plot line of the entire movie is about how Chris Pratt is now a dad, so he has to go through a lot of struggles in order to raise his children, along with learning a lot about being a dad. It's about how he deals with his own parents, which is mostly something that happens in the first movie.
The acting of the entire movie is top notch, which is quite unusual for a sequel in a franchise like Jurassic Park. It seems like they used this to set up the rest of the series and bring in more viewers. Some of the highlights in the movie include Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing, who is trying to figure out what to do with her newly born son.
The plot line is really good and one of the things that are great about this movie is the evolution of the dinosaurs in the series. While they still appear to be deadly dangerous, they have more hair, their tail bones are more developed, and they even have eyebrows now. While it was expected, the evolution of the dinosaurs was something that was refreshing to see.
Overall, this movie does a good job of introducing the new characters, setting up what the second and third part of the Jurassic Park series will be about, and showing off what the movies have been missing for a while. It's not the best sequel ever made, but it's still a decent sequel and it is still worth seeing if you're a fan of the series. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has not made quite as big of a splash as the first Jurassic Park movie did when it was released, but that doesn't mean that it's not an entertaining flick.
